Event Description:
The Freeport Public Library will once again be hosting the popular American History lecture series at the library. The six-week series will begin on Thursday, January 3 at 6:30 p.m. There will be one lecture each week, always at 6:30 pm, until the final lecture on Tuesday, February 12. Topics this year include the Coal Wars of the early 1900s; Dorothea Dix and the Age of Reform; and the History of the Great Plains.

Freeport Public Library: 100 E. Douglas St, Freeport, IL.
