Description
Take a Workshop at the Stephenson County Fiber Art Fair! Saturday, April 13, 2019 The ancient skills of cordmaking can be used to make fashion today. First we will make a twisted cord necklace using synthetic novelty yarns. Then we will move on to the Lucet and make a bracelet that you can take home to felt. Finally we will explore the knitting knobby (also known as spool knitter, Knitting Nancy or Ned, French knitter, etc.). Loaner tools and novelty yarns with instruction handouts will be supplied. Bring your own tools if you have them. Features to look for when choosing tools and yarns will be covered.
