Description
The public is invited to an open house at FHN’s Vein Center at its new location inside FHN Memorial Hospital. Guests will tour the new, more private and updated Center, meet the staff and enjoy refreshments and education about the non-invasive testing and treatments for venous disease. The open house will be from 3 – 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 at the new FHN Vein Center on the first floor of FHN Memorial Hospital, 1045 W. Stephenson Street in Freeport. It’s estimated that 40 percent of people in the U.S. have chronic venous insufficiency, which can cause pain, swelling, tenderness and limited mobility. The FHN Vein Center offers innovative outpatient procedures that can alleviate those symptoms. Visitors will be able to sign up for free, non-invasive vein screenings to be held at a later date. Wine and cheese will be served, and door prizes will be awarded. No registration is required for this free event. For more information or to book a free vein screening, call 815-599-VEIN (8346).
