Event Description:
Winter’s not over, and there’s nothing like a bowl of soup to warm you up on a chilly evening! Join our Cordon Bleu-trained chef at Pretzel City Kitchens as he demonstrates how to prepare three wonderful soups — tomatillo corn chowder, chicken noodle (from scratch), and homemade ramen. You’ll see how to create a soup base, saute appropriately for a soup, the right way to simmer a soup, how to prepare homemade pasta, and how to properly season soups to balance all their wonderful flavors. Participants will sample all three soups and can enjoy wine from the Great Debate Wine Bar at the Wagner House during the class.
