FREEPORT, Ill., March 14, 2019 — Friends of the FHN Family Counseling Center are sponsoring a fun, family-friendly bowling fundraiser to help fund programs for area at-risk youth. Striking Success for Children will make its debut Thursday, April 25, with registration beginning at 5 p.m. at 4 Seasons Bowling Center, 1100 W. Galena Avenue in Freeport. The evening’s theme is Rocking Through the Decades, and participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite band or singer. Teams of up to 6 people can participate; the entry fee for each person is $50, which can be raised or donated. (Fundraising sheets can be downloaded at www.fhn.org/strikingsuccess.) Individuals who raise $100 or more will receive a Striking Success for Children t-shirt; those who raise $250 or more will receive a hooded sweatshirt. Donations must be pledged and submitted by April 12 to receive a t-shirt or sweatshirt. All proceeds raised will support the youth served through the FHN Family Counseling Center.
