Two join Fehr Graham ownership group
Johnson, who joined Fehr Graham in 2014, leads a team of professionals who have successfully completed significant civil and structural engineering projects around Champaign. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. A Champaign native, Johnson makes it a priority to be involved in his hometown. He is a member of Champaign West Rotary and the University of Illinois Alumni Association. Johnson also is a professional structural engineer who specializes in water and wastewater treatment plant design and construction. He most recently designed a $35 million wastewater treatment plant, which is under construction, in South Beloit, Illinois.
In 2013, Kass joined Fehr Graham, where he focuses on leading projects that make the quality of life better in the Cedar Rapids area. Kass earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University. He also is a licensed professional land surveyor. He serves as secretary of the Cedar Rapids Sunrise Rotary Club and is involved in many organizations around Cedar Rapids. Some of Kass’ professional accomplishments include working with the city of Cedar Rapids to design 1,100 crosswalk ramps, enabling access for all, designing a three-diamond baseball and softball facility that improves recreational opportunities for West Branch, Iowa, and helping Coggon, Iowa, protect its water source by leading a design team for a wastewater treatment plant.
With the addition of Kass and Johnson, Fehr Graham has seven owners.
